So SDC thinks a living wage is the way to go. Is GMI the transition mechanism? And should we be going in this direction at all.

Be nice.

not a wage at all... a guaranteed income.

theres a diff.

central banks have created trillions of dollars out of thin air to give to those already with the capital to invest in assets that have ballooned in value.... perhaps wudda been better to just give an extra 50 quid a week (or national equivalent purchasing power amount) to the poorest 20%.... irrespective of whether they have work, looking for or even want to work..

in the end, this is what it will come to in order to reflate the economy and sustain it..

or better still... free money, but with a use-by date to prevent hoarding.. or even to be used locally only (within a prescribed radius of issuing-point)

should allow for quick recycling of funds for the multiplier-effect to kick in..
