Great!!! Well, maybe Windass will get his chance as a striker, like he wants, sooner than he may have thought

Makes you wonder if he has been carrying it for a while given his comparative lack of starts!

Has he returned straight back to Wigan as others do, so that our medical staff can sort him out. Stopping with Ireland is no good to us.

Yes that is apparently what kept him out in the previous weeks. Hamstrings can be a nightmare to recover from - if this is a reoccurrance i suspect he'll need a while out.

Windass has been really poor out wide so why not give him a chance up front or put him in Powells spot and put Nick up top - we might as well give it as we're getting so little out of him as it is.

Geldheart scored for England U19s again - might be time to bring him onto the bench and start to give him some minutes as a sub too.

Well playing Windass up to now has been a waste of time and points. He has brought nowt to the side. Same could be said for Gibson apart from 1 or 2, 20 minute spells as sub. Garner has been average too. Robinson is bang average at best. Evans isn't bad but is slow getting forward.
Kipre again is pretty average but not bad and will improve.
James has been bloody great but that's been at the price of replacing last year's player of the year.
Don't think we would have been any higher but certainly no lower in the league if we had continued with the squad that finished at Doncaster because of all of the new players only James has brought anything better with him. Macca maybe could but Cooky doesn't play him.
Agree though King, if no Grigg we may see something from Windass. Also as someone else said we may get more from him if he has to stand in if Powell is out.
