Griffin Park

One of the grounds I sadly never got to and now never will.

It's always quite sad when an historic venue passes into history.

I loved Griffin Park. I went last season for one final visit for League Cup Match v Cambridge, having not been for about 15 years. It is a proper old school London ground , however I think the new ground will be a very good replacement.
I love the corner section of terracing with barriers at 2.37 on that film...a relic to a bygone era...

New ground looks a little too sci-fi for my complete liking but I'm sure it's what they need to progress to where they want to be.

Wonder if there will be a pub on every corner of it as there is at Griffin Park

It's (GP) a bit like a smaller version of that other West London venue, Loftus Road which I too have not had the pleasure of visiting either.
