Nick Griffin has been ousted as leader of the British National Party and replaced by Adam Walker.

In case you’ve never heard of Mr Walker, he's a former teacher who was kicked out of the profession not for “bravely speaking up for the British people in the face of politically correct oppression” (as he'd probably tell you) but for verbally abusing some young boys and slashing their bike tyres with a knife.

No, the words "prime minister in waiting" do not come to mind.

:22:

Bit of a nasty write up that in the Telegraph. Im more concerned for the writer of the article than I am of the BNP members he(Tim Stanley) rips into.

Tim Stanley almost writes like he has a personal vendetta against Nick Griffin. Right or wrong, Nick had his place in society & he did what "he thought" was right. Maybe British politics needs a Nick Griffin, maybe its all about(and shows a side) democracy and freedom of choice? Wouldnt be much of choice if everyone was the same. And im sure the ripples that UKIP have caused adds to the main parties rethinking their strategies, or keeping them on their toes.

BNP has had its day tbh, it's the EDL nowadays, round my area where the resentment of foreigners taking council houses instead of locals who can't get one has created this, one polish family had a grand to help them move in and when locals round here found out caused trouble, i blame the councils and governments for this tbh,

They are all racist c*** and I wish they would self implode.

Hope that helps inform the debate a little with a slightly more educational slant.

If you are planning on taking the educational viewpoint then I suggest you stop covering up your inability to spell with asterisks. :5:

Are they ALL racists though Fear, or just very proud of their own Nationality and want to show such?

We must be one of only a few countries in the world where we feel awkward to wave our National flag. And if we didnt have these extremists parties would ALL English traditions be lost forever? St. Georges day is a very low key affair - yet its our National day.

I have family living abroad and they listen to the local media, watch the local TV and the commentators literally cheer on their country, wave the flag when competing in sporting competitions etc. Many countries can even openly HATE on & ridicule the English race. Yet the English just accept it & have become so reserved, almost to the extent of non existent.

There is racist and there is being proud of who you are, your traditions and history. And whilst they do have many racist followers, I also think they push to support traditions.

Yeah, ALL.

Hope that helps.

:14:

They are joke 'parties', the people that speak for them are hilarious, this isn't to do with national pride or identity, or pride in our history, flag etc, if it was, it would include the immigrants WE brought over.

I know what you are saying, but this rabble are not anything to do with the England (or Britain) I know and want to be associated with.

All this BNP EDL gets mistaken and mixed in with the real hardcore nationlists, when the truth i find living in rough estate where the resentment is felt towards foreigners they believe taking everything, when the majority don't hurt any immigrant just is fed up with the lack of control over immigration, these Tories Labour etc have had years to sort this mess out but do they?

This is what causes the frustration and anger, i have spoken to different races about stuff over these past few years especially and they even say if we keep letting in immigrants over time we will all suffer, this isn't an issue about race really just the NHS etc which has already probably had it's day soon but letting in more and more when jobs are hard and harder to come by etc that can pay your bills and give you a living wage to do anything on, this is the real reasons why these BNP parties get people joined out of frustration of the toffee noses not listening to the people then everybody gets angry and fear is created in community's,,,,shouldn't be like this them at the top am causing this for sure.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/immigration/10677063/Immigration-report-held-back-by-Downing-Street.html

Downing Street has been accused of suppressing a report which found that immigrants are not preventing as many British workers from getting jobs as previously claimed.

The report was apparently completed last year but has not been released amid concerns it could prove politically awkward for ministers.

Maybe one day the UK and the USA will be under Muslim rule - that is Sharia law and the majority all following the religion? It wont happen in our life time but for the future generations its a very real possibility. Islam is the fastest growing religion on the planet and a very clever one at that. Many areas of inner cities within the UK alone have changed significantly over the last 50 years and one can only admire how clever the religion is. The strange thing in America is that you have the bible belt - these people tend to be very easily led and Islam will have no problem converting these people.

Dont get me wrong, im not judging, neither do I care - as what happens will happen. But I just wonder if at some point in the future some will look back in history and think that the BNP had a point. And that its not racism they fighting but our very freedom.

Christian Rule. Muslim Rule. Scientology Rule.

They're all bad.

The only sensible solution is to not let Religion enter into politics at all.

Not likely! It's far more likely that they will resist with arms.

There is plenty room on this world, but i will tell you where my suspicions lay when i started realising about this immigration issue etc, The governments of the west allow these immigration levels to sprial out of control, it'snot the people's fault that want a better life,,,we would defo do the same in the future if and when it all goes to pot over here, but they create all this tension between people in these communities, you would think they would do something to really ensure we am not flooding the country and plenty of room but no,,,they actually say there is problems and will do something about it, another year passes by and council houses for poorer families get like gold dust round here causing tensions about the worry of affording a home, then the locals see newly immigrated people put in them, it causes trouble brewing,

What they should do imho, if there is enough money/NHS/Homes /Work they am coming over straight into then great no problem, but for a while now this is not the case, it just makes it harder for the immigrants that have been here longer many generations some even they say it has to stop like the EU levels implemented, lets get the country straight then i will welcome people over here in a leotard with the flag on it like Gerri Halliwell!!

Britain is on a nasty path. i think part of what green tea says is right. we WILL become over populated with muslims and they will take over this country. our grandparents fought and died for this country and its being ruined. sharia law has already started to creep in certain areas with muslim vigilantes doing things how they see. the inner city schools are now all 80-90% muslim. children as young as 11 having to have regular sessions with the anti terrorism squad does not bode well. and this is happenning all day every day. yea the bnp and edl are idiots. But they have a point. no one will be able to stop this now. i can maybe see a civil war in years to come.

I agree except it's inevitable, unless you are suggesting that we should not be allowed to elect representatives that have a religious belief - and then democracy goes out the window.

I think, as long as we have an official separation of government from all religion then we will have the best scenario. In a democracy people must be allowed to practice their religion and the electorate must be free to elect whomever they choose. If elected officials, when voting on matters of conscience, ignore their religious convictions then they are not being true to themselves or the people who elected them. Faith (or the lack there of) is an integral part of what makes us who we are.

What a load of nonsense. This Country is founded on immigrants. They have been the lifeblood of it since before the Romans invaded.

The propaganda machine is certainly doing it's job at the moment.

It's the little Englanders I can't abide I must admit. I guess we all have our prejudices, that is mine. I got rid of my cleaner because she kept espousing racist bollox, sorry, not in my house!
