Gordon Banks

Amazing keeper. Some great memories of seeing him as a kid, a treat from my father when we lived in London to go and see Spurs play Stoke, with Banks and Jennings. That save from Pele. Sadly his career cut short in a car accident.

In a game where the term "legend" is used too freely, he was a genuine one and set the standards for the likes of Shilton to follow.
 
As good a keeper as I ever saw. RIP.
We wouldn't have lost to West Germany in 1970 if he was on the pitch.
