Was just looking back to see when we've started the season with a bit of an unbeaten run (league only). Not a great record & didn't always work out
2006/07 - Schoey set off with 8 unbeaten, ending in play-off defeat
1989/90 we won first 4 and 7 unbeaten (interesting contrast match 6 v Peterboro attendance 6106) but only finished 10th
Of course we had 3 unbeaten in 1986/87 but will move swiftly on
75/76 we famously lost the 1st game
Before that it's back to 1950/51 for 7 unbeaten again (finished 5th)
How far will we get this season?

Assuming this refers to the league and Tuesdays game at Blackburn is not counted if we are unbeaten come 5pm on the 1st of September ie after the Exeter game this run can go a very long way. That game though is a toughie. To be honest though I would take a few defeats if we collect 3 points from other games as opposed to a load of draws

Was only looking at league because of early season League Cup games is a bit unfair. If we can take it to 6 then who knows!

MK Dons will be a test too. They just beat Exeter and are still unbeaten this season.
