From a Notts perspective, there surely can't have been a worse calendar year in our history than 2016. I won't make the mistake of saying that it can't possibly get worse because with Notts, we know that it can and more often than not, it does.
Yesterday's second half performance (after a decent first half) was probably an apt finish to a terrible year but with the takeover all but complete, I'm going into 2017 hoping that we can finally start to drag ourselves off the sickbed we have been on for far too long. I'm sure it won't be easy (nothing ever is with Notts) but here's to a much happier 2017 for everyone connected to our wonderful club.
