Good news only Fred

Can’t be far off a points deduction given how much mad Mel has pissed off the EFL over the years.

Can’t imagine the new owners are too happy about the £2m that’ll need to come out of the club to pay mistakeogh.

That kind of thing could put off an owner that’s already not taken over 2 clubs
Is that how much he’s getting?

The new lad in the middle is an upgrade on all of our other 55 midfielders. Although you might as well get a tombola out to decide who plays with him.

There is an interesting situation going on there.

First there are the circumstances surrounding the sale of the ground to another of Mel's shell Companies; a sale which is still being contested by the FL, or rather the failure to find them guilty under the terms of P&S is being appealed.

Running concurrently to this is the nature of the loans arranged with Dell Venture Capitol, to keep the Club going pending the takeover.

If the reports in the paper are to be believed, the loans are secured against the Ground, and not personally by Mel.

Surely this raises a conflict of interest; how can the Club be benefitting from a facility they no longer own?

Let’s face it. If anyone was to give Pope a gift horse he would complain about the amount of excrement he has to clean up. Surprised he sees snow as a positive. Nothing else does. Old misery.

Whatever the morality of selling the ground to balance the books, it does seem an incredibly short sighted decision.
