I understand why some are saying we’ve gone a bit early on this but I think he showed real potential last season and I like to see us backing a good prospect as manager. Let’s see what he’s really capable of with some backing and a full season!

I dunno about it being "good news".
Matos is doing ok but proof is in the second season from scratch.
For me he's not really a Swansea type manager but he's being backed this Summer. We've not signed many yet but if the targets are accurate then we are aiming high with good calibre targets.
I just hope he's got more ways to play than just relying on his team pressing and pressing and trying to steal possession high up the pitch to create chances.
Too often last season good pressers like Widdel were taken off and we dropped back 10 yards and teams were suddenly right back in games as we lost all control.
