Let's face it, this thread has been more interesting than the football for a while now, hopefully that will change! This thread has had over 25,000 posts and been viewed over one million times . I find that staggering ….,
It’s not even a football thread
Two of the most common sights in Ireland nowadays. Foxes & gulls. Neither are afraid of humans and as such will tolerate people standing within just a few feet away. The latest bird event of this expedition was my wife and I sitting on a cliff in Perce, Gaspe watching the gannets dive from 75’ or so straight into the water in multiples into shoals of fish. All with Perce Rock and Bonaventure Island in the background with the sun on them.
And yesterday a cheeky fox ran right between us on the trail we were on with a squirrel in its mouth.
I adore that fim.On the Waterfront!

And you are all most welcome! It’s just a brilliant section in a brilliant forum ,
I don’t look at other sites , but I think it may be unique.
I love how it brings us all together and how it has grown into its own beast .
Funny , Sad , informative , educational, human in every detail …
As you say Steve , it’s just a thread shared about life .
But I sometimes think it’s more than that .
,
Brings us all into each others living rooms .
We get to know a fair amount about each other outside of our love of one football club. There is support in all sorts of scenarios with encouragement and advice where appropriate. It is all kept to ourselves and is just a great thread on the best forum around. I think one of the few things we don’t know about each other is our inside leg measurement…………. and mine is……..!It’s just a brilliant section in a brilliant forum ,

Is there an idea for a new predictor game there? lolWe get to know a fair amount about each other outside of our love of one football club. Oh yes I think the first film I ever went to see was with me Dad (bless his cotton army socks) .. it was Bridge on the River Kwai .. mum went shopping in sheperd's bush market whilst we saw the film in the Paviliion (not sure if it's still there anymore.)1950 - All the king's men - Hmm not my sort of movie but I do remember Brod Crawford in Highway Patrol though. What a load of tut that was when u look back - guess we watched anything on the tv just vying for entertainment around a 6 inch cube.
Good ol days (well most of them were) .. there were some not so good ones as well.
Is there an idea for a new predictor game there? lol
we had Andy Pandy, the flower pot men, Roy Rogers, Cisco kid, Champion the wonder horse, Lone Ranger, Rawhide, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Highway Patrol, .. mostly in B&WA touch of nostalgia. Well way back in the 80s when i was a child growing up the tele was superb. Morning tele that is. Charlie Brown. The Monkees. Laurel & Hardy. Saturday Superstore, Crackerjack, the list was endless. Then there was Firefox, The Dukes Of Hazard, The A-Team & Baywatch in the afternoon. Who could ever forget the sight of Yasmin Bleeth or Pamela Anderson running along the beach in slo-mo whilst looking utterly fab-u-lous. Kids nowadays have to face the consequences of social media and online abuse. It's a different world we're all living in today.
I reckon you are the most travelled of us all 80. Is that a job application!?And who is going to volunteer to fly around the globe with a measuring stick? Probably the least trustworthy piece of information any male imparts to anyone.
I never watched any of those lol.we had Andy Pandy, the flower pot men, Roy Rogers, Cisco kid, Champion the wonder horse, Lone Ranger, Rawhide, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Highway Patrol, .. mostly in B&W
