Good Morning Thread

It's always seemed to me you can find an Irish bar/pub pretty much anywhere you go in the world.
Except Ireland then it's just a pub 😉
Hi folks trust you're all OK on this page, don't post too often and hope I haven't missed anything of note, apologies for birthdays missed etc...
Is anyone else fed up with this, weather?
Bar 1 or 2 days it's been almost constant gales here since Christmas. To give you an idea I've hurt my knee repairing our fence which is on a bank 3 posts about 20 panels. But had to be done kneeling on the bank, hence sore knee so no running.
So during the one day break I had I went out on the bike (10 miles) but my watch thingy has a history of when you last did that exercise, it was friggin' August, but it's mostly because the days have been so breezy when I've had the time to cycle the weather dictated otherwise.
To prove this point we used to have a cycle club come along our road regular, not for about 2 years, there are defo more 'stormy /windy days now it's blowing fairly strong just now I'd say 40/50mph I am on the coast but this is beyond a joke this year.
Stay safe folks, again apologies if I've missed anything of note...

You guys must be in a similar position to us down here in the south-west, our local forecasters have just reported that we have had rain in each of the past 36 days and counting!

Yep, it rained again yesterday and has rained today, I reckon St Swithin must have got his dates confused.

Talking of Swithins, one of my local councillors (I think he is actually the council leader) is called Swithin, his full name, and to be fair his appearance, suggest the middle ages to me.

Back in those days someones surname ussually reflected their occupation (e.g. Fletcher, Carter) or some other aspect of them such as stature (William the Tall), I'll leave it to your imagination why my councillor is Swithin (the) Long!

Afternoon to all my fellow Yid oppo's.

Wevver round ere, Rained, yes that wet stuff, first thing this morning, then went Sun has got his hat on, now cloudy wiv more of the wet stuff on its way.

Happy days!... 🥃 cheers all..COYS
