Good luck Ebbsfleet United

Vital Champions League
Huge game for Ebbsfleet tonight at Aldershot (Live on BT Sport). Good luck to the ex-Gills in the side - three I think. A win and the Fleet are one game (away v Tranmere - yep N/L play off format is a tad complicated this year) away from a Wembley appearance with the prize - entry into the Football League. Tough schedule but Ebbsfleet is the most in-form team in the NL - wouldn`t it be great for Kent football if they were promoted ??

So basically it works like this:

Match A - 5th (Aldershot) versus 6th (Ebbsfleet)
Match B - 4th (Boreham Wood) versus 7th (AFC Fylde)

Then:

Winner of Match A versus 2nd Place (Tranmere)
Winner of Match B versus 3rd Place (Sutton)

Then Playoff Final being whoever wins this game. Have to admit it makes the playoffs a bit more interesting. and makes finishing as high as possible favourable.

Shame about Dover, their 90th minute winner relegated Woking and saved Barrow, but results went against them. Of the two, I'd prefer Dover in the league than Ebbsfleet.

Good luck to them. Competition makes organizations better. Having other Kent clubs will do us no harm (in the long run) and I can't see too many fans running off to support them.

Reading report sounds amazing game at Aldershot,1-1 final score,Ebbsfleet won on penalties 5-4,Rance with final penalty,Good Luck to you.

Aldershot were 3-1 up in the penalty shoot out after 3 pens each as well. Had two chances to win it and missed them both.

Well done Ebbsfleet. Keds` penalty miss during the game was a bit of a surprise. He hit the ball very meekly, right at the keeper ! Made up for it in the shoot out though; smashed the ball down the middle in his customary, effective style. Come on Fleet, beat the scousers on Saturday. If Fylde get to Wembley I don`t want to be on a train with fousans of Tranmere bods on it !

And, once again, Good Luck to Ebbsfleet. Fleet play at Tranmere at 1215 today in the N/League semi-final (BT Sports Live). One win away from a Wembley final, two wins from the Football League.

Tranmere one in the first half of extra time and now another early in the second half to make it 4-2 now Winfield the number 5 sent off for violent conduct (retaliation).
