The worst was actually in 2005/06 with 9, two each for Darren Byfield, Michael Flynn (who can forget the one against Burscough) and Leon Johnson with one each for Ashikodi, Clohessy and Sancho.
Only one player got sent off in 2018/19 (Callum Reilly v Bristol Rovers, the best performance since 1994/95)
