Ogilvie currently LB with Tucker left-sided CB.

Little action so far other than the goal, not teams have nullified each other.
 
Can't complain about going in with a lead, but I wish we could put it to bed. As we often do, we're comfortably ahead in midfield, but again we haven't made too many decent chances. Mandron took his opportunity well but he was lucky it fell to him.

Lincoln look very poor but it only takes one slip-up or fluke to let them back in.
 
Lincoln game plan becoming clearer. Play it out badly from the back. Encourage Gills high press. Gills get knackered. Then long ball rapier-like strike.
 
Agree with Alderman. Lincoln terrible so I fear a f#ck up somehow. Lincoln so bad that Ogilvie looks good at lb.

Need a second to put it to bed.
 
Akinde has made a difference to Lincoln but they are not much cop .... thankfully we are a little better ....although they have just had two good chances .....

3 lovely points but we didn't half make hard work of it. Evans had obviously told them at half time to shoot on sight and not try to dribble it into the net, so that was an improvement, but unfortunately no-one had the confidence or technique to pull it off. So Lincoln, poor though they were, but not as poor as in the first half, were still in with a slight sniff and very nearly nicked a point at the end. We badly need someone who knows where the goal is.

Some nice play at times, especially the interplay between hanlan and Lee. Thought Jones and O'Keefe were very comfortable in midfield and mandron worked very hard despite his limited technical ability. Well deserved win, Lincoln poor
 
A deserved win, three points and a clean sheet. All good but as others have said we should have won more easily. We still rely too heavily on the combativeness of Fuller and Byrne but overall a good afternoon.
 
A win is a win. Near the end, Peter Lloyd remarked that a second goal should seal it. Not longer after Lincoln nearly scored. Hopefully, the team will build on that, however players like Mandron need to improve their skills no end.
