Hmmm

Two minds

1. I suppose there is still a chance (if promoted) he could still play for us, and I would like him to

2. If he doesn't want to be here / we don't want him, a loan is no good, we need the money,

Get rid. As soons as all the remants of the Lerner era are gone the better*

* apart from the scottish cafu.

Hate all this loan malarky. Can't we just say give us 100k and he's yours?

100k is better than nothing. He's not very good and will never play for us again, so whats the point?

Should have had a sell on clause in the contract, i.e. If you have him on loan for two season Aston Villa will have to give Deportivo £500 to keep him.

I assume there is a loan fee. Perhaps there isn't?

Knowing us, there isn't and we are still paying his wages.

wages off our books, loan fee, if they can't sell then this makes sense.

Surprised no one has bought him, he had some decent touches.

If he is good enough to play for La Coruna he is sure as hell good enough to play in the second tier of English football. But he just doesn't fit cos people say he is too lightweight [all bull that is]. Anyway, like others have said, the sooner all links with the recent past have gone, the better ... oh and that definitely includes cafu doubles
