I'm rather curious after having had several gift experiences bought me for birthday, Christmas etc what you lot might have had and enjoyed. I've got to like them and wonder what else is out there. So far, (early on before I started flying) my wife bought me some 'up in the air' stuff, a hot air balloon ride and a flying lesson in a plane and also in a helicopter. I've had a day at Silverstone, a driving experience at Enstone in Oxfordshire and today went to Mallory Park, Leicestershire.
Now don't get me wrong, we're not made of money but over some length of years, they have rather mounted up. I was hoping for a tour of WHL but I suppose that's out of the question now...... The new stadium will no doubt feature though if I drop some strong hints.
Cost IS a consideration but let's not be too frugal, 'her indoors' can be quite generous if I behave myself.
These gift experiences can be great but can also be a let down in some ways.... maybe lots of travelling to the venue without enough reward from it may put some off.
I'd be glad to hear opinions or recalled experiences.
