4 Foot long, and fortunately dead. But it makes you wonder how many more are there underground?.......

Is it not one of them big bloody things from South America again.

No, just someone messing around with perspective.
Ah well some people need some perspective themselves or a life.

That one might be messing around with perspective, but I did read an article a while back about rats possibly growing as big as sheep!

There's also been rats as big as domestic cats found in homes recently. I think it's a lot to do with the kind of foods that are available to them left in the trash

Yeah, plus their growing immunity to poisons laid down by Rentakil, together with the food which is thrown out as you say SJH. Nothing surprises me these days.....

The stuff I've seen does indeed indicate that a rat could grow the sie of a sheep - over tens of thousands of years. It's not going to happen overnight.

The theory is that they will evolve to fill the void left by larger species that are now extinct in urban areas.

This process will not lead to rats that big in our lifetime!!

It's a fake some data scientist called Oliver O'Brien has claimed the picture has been changed due to the fact if the rat was four foot the man holding it would need to be 12ft for him to fit proportionally. He reckons the rat is around 2ft.

You just need to look at the size of the pincers holding it. Think how big those are in real life, and you get a better perspective on how big the Rat is.

Indeed, If it was as big as reported I would like to see him hold it out like he is on the end of a picker, not a chance!

Maybe if you trained him, Juan, he could do it? :30:
