GET WELL, PELE MATE!

Vital Football Hero
A report states that probably the famous footballer in the world and arguably one of the best has been moved into another part of a more intensive type of care ward after his infection has increased. I found the following report today.

"Brazil football legend Pele has been moved to a special care unit in a Sao Paulo hospital amid reports his condition has worsened.

The 74-year-old was admitted to Albert Einstein Hospital on Monday with a urinary infection. He is being treated with antibiotics and is currently in a stable condition.

A hospital spokesman said: "The patient has been transferred to a room where he will be more closely monitored, but it is not intensive care, it is an intermediate stage."

Jose Fornos Rodrigues, Pele's personal aide, told Reuters that the renowned player is "completely fine" and the move to another ward is simply to protect his privacy.

"He was uncomfortable with so many people coming. It'll be quieter now. It will take between eight and 10 days before he can leave the hospital," he added."

GET WELL SOON MATE, your fans are rooting for you!

Pele the footballer was superb, and I am sure he is a nice man...and I wish him and anyone who is ill or unfortunate better times ahead...but
if you read his autobiography, he states throughout that GOD almost picked him out, had a plan for him to become a world class footballer, protected him at various stages e.g. when he nearly died as a child on a bus, and has always been there for him. Well on my planet, anyone who thinks an omnipotent entity singles out individuals to protect and nurture whilst leaving some children to die and be abused, and not quite up to being the best footballer ever and therefore put on the scrapheap, is quite frankly madness. Don't get me wrong I wish him well but he is delusional in this aspect and maybe just maybe, if he is right, GOD wants to take him back home now, or if he recovers, has more for him to do, not the skill of the doctors and nurses and scientists who discover cures. Sorry if this upsets anyone, but it is just because I read his autobiography and all its self gratification... and view that he is a special one....due to his faith I guess. Bet this generates some vitriol on here.

1000 first class goals are enough to give anyone a god complex, Ronaldos is coming along nicely.

He's apparently doing just fine and should be out soon.

Don't know why you think your views will generate vitriolic responses; some believe, some don't - personally I find it all about as convincing as praying a the tree Goddess.

If I could ban religion, I would, World would be a far better place without it.

Oh I dunno....its a terrific business plan if you can pull it off, your own "country", tax free status globally, people just throwing money at you.

And that is just Sepp Blatter.

Anyone who can score nearly 1300 goals in their career has my respect.

Don't believe in any god but good luck Pele.
