Gerry Adams arrested

SKEGGY - 3/5/2014 21:03

The PSNI were given an extra 48 hrs from 20:00hrs yesterday, 2/05/14, to question him.

Does that seem strange to anyone else? Either he's telling them where it is or he isn't. I can't imagine Adams is going to shit his pants at another 48 hours of good cop, bad cop.

Adams led the IRA's General Army Council during the 70s and early 80s. He practically re-invented the Provisional IRA and was instrumental in making it vastly 'better' (more effective). A true terrorist mastermind if ever there was one. Sadly, he'll never go down for anything he either did, commanded others to do, or had operational knowledge of. The disappeared (and there were many), were victims of a regime that habitually maimed, tortured and murdered arbitrarily. Adams was deeply involved in this. There are plenty like him who will never face justice. And just to bring some parity to this rant there are plenty on the Loyalist side and within the British establishment who will equally escape justice.

Brendan Hughes stated in his book "From The Grave" Adams ordered the woman's abduction and at first wanted he shot in the back of the head whilst still in the street with all her neighbours etc watching, to act as a warning to other potential informants.

Laughable Gerry Kelly as part of the NI Police Briefing Board is today at Antrim PSNI station to discuss Adams case.

Released with a file going to the CPS (NI) which is headed up by Adams former solicitor, you couldn't make this up!

Released without charge: Adams reckons he is a victim in this. Nothing we didn't expect then :159:

How can this murderer claim to be a 'victim', when he went to the police voluntarily ?

His 'blood brother' McGuiness claimed it was political. Well I claim it is political that he wasn't charged!!!!...

How does he keep getting away with it and why does he get so much support? He covered up the sexual abuse that his own brother was inflicting upon his daughter for years yet he still walks on water for many.

Probably the same reason as to why when anybody has a go at islamics and islamic fundamentalists...... People don't like / want the boat rocked too much if at all......

I think it's called 'putting their heads in the sand' so hopefully it will all go away in time.....

Unfortunately Gerry Adams seems untouchable. If he is charged with this, the file is still with the cps, I can see real trouble erupting. Despite reports and claims that PIRA have been disbanded and all weapons, explosives and munitions destroyed they are all still available and PIRA could be armed and stood to in a matter of hours.

I disagree SKEGGY, both the RIRA and the PIRA are nowhere near the force they once was - just a group of wannabe gangsters that deal in drugs and illegal diesel. Both the Irish Garda and PSNI know who they are and where they hide out. The problem with most Sinn Fein supporters is that they think they are the driving force behind the peace process - ie, support Sinn Fein and you support peace. And that these supporters also think that we have a fraction within the PSNI that are still hard line loyalists that are pushing for the arrest and questioning of Adams. Even though you know and I know that the questioning has come in line with the evidence from Bell and what is said on the Boston tapes.

But you are right, he will once again get away with it.
