Gerry Adams arrested

Well they must be pretty sure.

They can't afford to arrest such a high profile figure as him and get it wrong.
 
You can be arrested and released without charge. It's just as likely to be publicity stunt by him to force their hand
 
Even if he did do it, he won't get done for it. Upset how things are proceeding too much. It's as Sir Dennis says Adams and McGuiness have blood on there hands anyway whether they physically involved or not
 
Is he not immune to prosecution for such things from back then due to the Good Friday agreement?

He says these kind of things with a straight face.

Yeah he was never a member but wasn't his brother quite a high ranking member?
 
I was being ironic, gator! This is what he claims. Besides being in the IRA, his brother was also paedophile (abused his children) and it's alleged that GA tried to cover up for him.
 
Yeah I gathered that after your second post John but I thought he really wasn't a member as such but worked alongside the IRA whilst forming Sinn Fein but did have a big say in what they did.Either way the man must have blood on his hands.Yeah I think I remember something about his brother being a kiddie fiddler and here's me thinking the IRA wanted to clean the streets of such filth scum the lot of them mate.
 
Whilst this is justice being served many years too late imo i do worry this might start off the IRA bombings all over again, we really can not afford to have this kicking off again with the way everything is already a mess, Afghan, Iraq, economy etc hope it doesn't anyway.

He's a scumbag alright. Smiling in front of the cameras while the blood drips off his fingers. Ironically, like most British politicians.
 
The PSNI were given an extra 48 hrs from 20:00hrs yesterday, 2/05/14, to question him.
