Interesting but far more likely is that Pope and Chandos are the same poster. There’s quite compelling evidence and the ruse of blocking himself hasn’t put me off the scent. Whichever name he posts under he’s an excellent contributor to the site. I prefer Pope’s/Chandos matchday threads to that of the AI and hope he continues to do them if he has the time.

Finally caught up and watched the liverpool game

For 70 mins we were exceptional and Liverpool did precisely zero. The ref was a ****** also

Over the 2 games we outplayed Liverpool tactically for over a game and a half
Liverpool battered us for about 25 mins over the 2 games only

Our fans were sensational but then they always are

In my opinion, Nuno made a big mistake in this match because he was late with the substitutions. Our players were extremely tired.

Pope/Chandos/Will/Ingy & Adebola are all the same poster and can be found in the Arboretum most lunchtimes

That's an interesting point. After we concluded our Summer transfer activity, we were all happy that we had a good squad, with strength in depth.
A squad that could compete and a realistic target of 15th-10th was seen as excellent progress.

We may be overachieving, but we now have 13/14 quality players but not the strength in depth needed for the top 10 in the Premier League. And certainly not good enough to compete in both Europe and home competitions.

Could someone explain reasoning behind the silly money that is being bid for the Clubs?

There must be huge finacial returns involved but I just cant see where from.

Next Friday will be of interest; EM was rumoured to be bidding for the Rockets

Has to be TV rights ?

I tried to do some business over 10 years ago now with Trent Bridge CEO

Which would have added approx £15k to £20k to their income they make during a test match

But he told me that the money they were getting back then from Sky (i think it was) then was so big that they didn't need to trial new initiatives for what he considered small returns in comparison

Will and Ingy definitely the same person. Adebola and Apollyon are one and the same. I suspect Finbar is Pebble (Ubik from LTLF possibly) without the music. You are also Wolfie. Your discussions with yourself are very interesting especially when you tell yourself off for your own mathematical errors and when you eventually convinced yourself that the conference facilitates in the new stand or stadium is not the main source of future income (I stayed away from that topic yesterday because it was getting unnecessarily feisty). Blackgold and Mrs Blackgold I’m almost certain is the same person. The logical conclusion is that there are actually only two people on Vital. Yourself in all your guises and me which means before I joined you were the only one. In that case I have to say you are quite interesting and I have to admit that when you are Pope or Chandos I have to look up the meaning of quite a few words and how to use them in a sentence the most recent of which was copium which it turns out is not Latin.
