Both Grady McDonnell and Michael Noonan played (admittedly small) parts as the Irish U-21s beat an England U-21 squad featuring several premier league players like Tyler Dibling, Archie Gray and Ethan Nwaneri

Looks as if the Irish are building a decent U21 squad. Should Forest be interested in a couple more? Any suggestions as to who Forest should be interested in Kerryred?

There are two central midfielders Rory Finneran of Newcastle United who is on loan at Notts this season and is getting in the team and already has a senior Irish cap in a friendly, and Jacob Devaney of Manchester United who is on loan at Hibs and also a regular this season. Both look great prospects but might be hard to get out of those clubs.
Very interesting player is Trent Kone-Doherty who came through the Liverpool academy and moved to Molde in Norway and has been banging them in, his first taste of senior football. He’s a winger.
The best and most exciting prospect is Jaden Umeh who is in the Benfica academy and also has played a senior game for Ireland at 18, lively winger, unfortunately injured at the moment.
We have some good young players playing at decent levels, and hopefully will get through the play offs to a first ever Euro U-21 championship. Definitely an area worth looking at, but it is a big step for players, even from other good academies to break int the PL.

Should be easy enough to have the lad at Notts watched.

Exactly what you'd expect, can't even pretend to do something without making a complete balls of it. You'd wonder how he manages to get through life wouldn't you. I'm sure Bash as the forum's resident expert in pretending to watch things could have have advised him if only he'd bothered to ask
