General NFFC thread

@Nanpantan red is the man you want for all the red hot academy goss. Meet him at Wilford Lane tram stop for a full de-brief.

Although sadly, he is now dead so this wont be possible.
When we say posters are dead around here - do we mean dead dead or dead to this forum dead? Because it gets thrown around quite a lot and I'm never sure which way it's intended. I know Nanpantan wasn't a spring chicken, so again it could be either.

No one knows really. The likes of Nan and ORF were elderly and suddenly stopped posting so we can probably presume they have sadly passed.

There is a consensus that Plummer isn't actually dead despite the post from his 'partner' saying he was.

The likes of PBT and Will are simply drop dead gorgeous x

Was that post actually from his partner?

Could it have been an attempt at deflection from the devious bastard?

I am as sure as I can be that he is not dead.

I know his identity, and I check the register of deaths every now and then, and he does not appear.

There has also been activity on one of his other social media accounts.

I would not be at all surprised if he was not back on here posting away.

Wouldnt you pretend to be dead if Apollyon was going to tear you limb from limb?

He has a very distinctive posting style so I am pretty sure he isn’t posting on here. Or at least not regularly enough to be noticed.

Stephen Burke is the youngest player to debut in the Forest first team at 16 years old beating Zack Abbott by a couple of months so I wonder if this new young man will beat the record?

Nice, lets hope he makes his full debut before 16 years old.

If we're gonna compete we need to have lads being, genuine, top level before they're 17, otherwise may be we're outgrowing them?

FROM AI:

On 29 October 2025, (Max) Dowman became Arsenal's youngest ever starter when he was named in the starting XI for the fourth round of the EFL Cup against Brighton at the Emirates Stadium, aged 15 years and 302 days, breaking the previous club record set by goalkeeper Jack Porter (16 years and 72 days)

BBC have selected one young player to watch from each EPL club this season

He is ours

Seems a bit young to be keeping an eye on yet

95 per cent plus of wonder kids dont fulfil the hype I would suggest

Lets hope this lad is one of the 5 per cent who do
Let's pile impossible expectations on him ASAP and christen him our Max Dowman.

Start him in one of the 10s next year, why the hell not.

Just how desperate are you to see this 15-year old boy in action, chap?

Lets hope so matey boy.

NFFC and the BBC to be bigging the kiddo means he definitely literally needs to be first team within a year or so - why else pull him aboard the hype train?

Alas, no room for sentimentality in this game.
Footballers earn elite money, receive elite adulation and fame as their elite talent makes them elite commodities (lego bricks, one might suggest).

If he makes it i.e. Max Dowman levels of "making it" then the Notts Forrest media crew are well justified in their hyperbole.

Theres a Hutchinson interview where he says hes been told by Glasner he needs to fight for one of the number 10 roles

He says thats where he played at Ipswich as the right side of two 10s
Didn’t take Glasner long to
See he can’t cross and slows up play

We need out and out pace and whipped balls in from our wingers

We won’t play wingers under Glasner. He plays 3-4-3 so it’s wing backs that will do the crossing.
Have to admit the idea of no wingers is anathema to me, but formations aren't as fluid as actual play so I remain optimistic.
