General NFFC thread

Thanks for that offer Jimmy It's very kind, but I've just found out that the rail service from Boston (which is where We'd have to travel from ) is a replacement bus on that day & I don't think I could face that so have shelved my plans & will re visit them after Xmas. Hopefully my son in law who normally drives us will be available then. I Can't do with driving back in the dark as I can't do with these ultra bright modern headlights dazzling me. Not much fun this getting old malarkey, but better than the alternative of course, good to still be here to moan about it

Thanks to you & Polly for offers of help & advice you really are most kind & restores faith in human nature

We have to accept the fact we will lose him and probably this season or the end of. But, it will be for a significant fee and surely north of 100m.
Isak for £120 million, isn't exactly pulling up trees. Anderson owns the midfield for Forest and England, 100 mill has to be the starting point.

We cant compete with spuds but we didnt give em MGW either.

We should let him go back at a time of our choosing and only if the price is right.

Keane was very good, I feel Anderson is at least as good if he maintains this kind of form. In some ways imo Anderson may have edge on him. Fantastic player and attitude.
Spurs might have the last laugh on that one because MGW does not look like a 60m player at the moment

I don't accept that. Imo depends on this season. If he has the opportunity to win stuff I think we can ask another season at least. Have said before, if we want to compete at the top end, we have try and keep the best of our players. Would rather sell 3 Zinchenkos than Anderson. In terms of needing to sell then declan rice bracket is appropriate. Possibly the best forest no. 6 I can think of in terms of current form. Improving as well!
I would rather sell 3 Zinchenkos than Anderson. THat would be a remarkably good deal, since we don't own Zinchenko!

Lots of chat about Dyche comments on Amorim and 4:4:2. The Utd midfield has been criticised a lot over last 12 months. The additions have been upfront and midfield has been left alone. Utd often play double pivot with Casimeiro and Fernandez. Casemiro lasts just over the hour. If we can swamp them then we should make chances. Shaw inverting has recently helped putting a third player in midfield. Sometimes Cunha drops back. If our right wing can force Shaw in to staying on station then we match be able to play through midfield.

Will Dyche go for a 4:4:2 or will he play a diamond to allow MGW to get further upfield. Jesus is surely one of the two but who is the other. Awoniyi, Kalim or perhaps an MGW playing just behind. Ndoye played very successfully last season for Dyche in that role.

Makes a lot of sense, does Crook.

The matey chuckling and jolliness when they reveal the cigar line shows the confidence that Manchester United (Red Devils) bring to the game against The Reds:

NFFC 1
MUFC 5 (as per Crook's intuitite knowledge of footie and quoted in the post, Cesko to bag a hattrick, and get his career motoring. 1x Cunha. 1x OG)

(Dyche fired?)

Not sure what’s pissing me off the most….the fact cunha/Mbuemo will bum us or we should have taken xhaka in the summer but I got shouted down as it’s a backwards step….

Yeah awesome

Xhaka isn't doing anything for Sunderland that Anderson isn't doing for us. He isn't winning them points on his own.

If it makes you feel any better, I don't think that either your recommendation of signing Xhaka or people on here shouting you down made any difference to Edu, Marinakis's or Nuno's transfer strategy.
