At least with Anderson, you won't be seeing him for much longer to make up your mind whether to believe it or not.

I don't accept that. Imo depends on this season. If he has the opportunity to win stuff I think we can ask another season at least. Have said before, if we want to compete at the top end, we have try and keep the best of our players. Would rather sell 3 Zinchenkos than Anderson. In terms of needing to sell then declan rice bracket is appropriate. Possibly the best forest no. 6 I can think of in terms of current form. Improving as well!

Agreed, we have no need to sell Anderson next summer unless we massively underperform.

I wish I could believe all of that, but he will be going and for big money. I am okay with that, as long as it's actually big.

There's no way we are keeping him. We really can't compete with the big clubs on any level. He never wanted to leave Newcastle and would love to go back.

Roy Keane was better (imo)

We cant compete with spuds but we didnt give em MGW either.

We should let him go back at a time of our choosing and only if the price is right.

Keane was very good, I feel Anderson is at least as good if he maintains this kind of form. In some ways imo Anderson may have edge on him. Fantastic player and attitude.

Nor for scoring he isn’t. Roy Keane scored quite a few goals for Forest and this something that Anderson must add to his game if he wants to be classed as great as Roy Keane was.

Agreed Anderson is excellent in every aspect of midfield play except creating and scoring goals

Hes as good and important as Gerrard was to Liverpool in so many ways

But without even looking I know Gerrard goal stats will blow him away

And Gerrard is an all time great. Keane similar.

Not sure if they kept assist stats from when Gerrard and Keane started playing ?

Top flight games and international games comparison

I expect Anderson will improve the goal stats as he develops of course

Plus will be a lot of sub games only in his Newcastle stats


Here’s the full summary with goals-per-game ratios calculated precisely:

Elliot Anderson: 87 games | 2 goals → 43.5 games per goal

Steven Gerrard: 618 games | 141 goals → 4.4 games per goal

Roy Keane: 548 games | 71 goals → 7.7 games per goal

I assume the new old head young apprentice combination will be given some time. Otherwise limited options halfway through season. Ange would be a contender.
 
Thinking of coming to Brighton game on 30 nov but going to have to come on train. As I’m not so good at walking any distance these days will need to get taxi to to ground, presume should be able to get taxi from station to ground OK but bit worried about getting to station as I’m not familiar with getting taxis in Nottingham area or perhaps there a bus. Should I be able to get taxi after game OK don’t mind having to wait until rush has died down

Uber following the game will be fine, but you'd probably want to leave at least an hour or 90 mins as the crowds will be massive.

Worth heading to the TBI or Larwood for a couple of pints....big crowds to contend with though!

Taxi from station to ground no problem. Pick up point after game would be issue. Agree with BG, wait an hour. Crowds diminish quite quickly. Could you manage a walk to TBI or L&V? Alternatives are Boatclub, or one of pubs on TB.

Its a shame our concourses are such a shambles that staying behind for a couple of jars is a fate worse than ange-ball.

When i went to spurs a couple of years back - my word, you could make a night of drinking the Neck Oil (freshly brewed on site) and admiring the futuristic concessions that new stadiums bring.

Seasider will see if my son will let me use his ticket for that game (he uses mine enough!) Lol

If so im happy to pick you up at train station and drop you back off there and you can save yourself buying a ticket and we could watch together,

Only issue might be once the game starts in B block nobody sits down til half time. But if you can handle that i can sort the rest for you.

Obviously the other issue would be having to watch the game with me!!
