Salah - another EPL legend we lose this season as well

Well apart from from being good for the EPL what has Pep ever done for us
Pep has stifled wing play. When the ball goes wide, rather then take fullback on they are under instructions to rotate the ball. Back it goes along the back four to the other wing who rotates again. Many great players fell by Pep’s instructions. Sane, Savinho, Grealish. Lately he has played midfielders out wide with instructions to keep possession and rotate. Foden on Right wing, Silva. Doku is the only winger to take fullback on with any consistency. Maresca has same doctarine

You say that but at the same time theyve always been brilliant getting their wide players in behind full backs with clever passing movements

He wont like wingers taking on full backs as its odds on you lose the ball trying to do so. However good the winger is.

My prediction- the 4 points deduction is bullshit and will be swept away on appeal as a compromise. It's there to ensure that when Southampton get something on appeal, it's not compensation from the EFL for loss of potential PL money
