Geezer Butler

Christ, my heart skipped there when I saw this thread, I was thinking the worst...

What a legend Geezer is.

"Up the Villa!" at the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame induction, love it. :94:

Geezer lived about 2 roads away from me in Victoria Road and Ozzy lived about 2-3 roads away in Lodge Road- I've been in Ozzy's home where he grew up because I knew his younger brother I always remember Ozzy's mom proudly showing me all the pictures on the wall of Black Sabbath and Ozzy!

The guys in the band are about 4-5 years older than me so I can only vaguely remember seeing them around but this photo brought a lot of memories flooding back. It's Geezer inside the Sacred Heart church next to the Sacred Heart school where he and I went to. I was also baptised and had my confirmation on that alter inside the church so seeing it again after many, many brought it all back and not all good memories either!

On another note I have just been flicking through You Tube and come across Sabbath banging out Paranoid with Geezer on his custom made Villa bass guitars.
Awesome band, awesome football club. UTV.

I lived in WenlockRoad as a kid and the band used to come to a friends house up the road from us. It is claimed that Ozzy first got his knuckle tatoos done whilst lying pissed on their front room floor. Brilliant band.

A rock legend waxes lyrical about Aston Villa... plus our other celebrity fans.

Eh?
Nothing really 67, I posted the same on 8/2/18 on the villa v blues thread, the gist of which is a few posts up above this one.
