Gary Monk receives his P45

Unbelievable Jeff.

We can't get to play teams just before they get shot of their managers and are demotivated and playing pants. No.

They wait until we're just about to play them before they give them the heave ho and we end up coping the New Manager Syndrome :doh!:

I feel sorry for the guy as I think he has the makings of a decent manager and I certainly think he deserved one more game in charge.....

i long for good old days when teams would sack their managers because they got beat by us

Yes C as though being beaten by us was the last straw.

Chairman these days wont stick by their managers even when going through a sticky patch, and credit here goes to Roman A. for sticking by Maureen or maybe it is because there isn't a decent manager free just yet. Her Roman Gary Monk just came on the market!

Or maybe it's because he doesn't want to pay the special **** the compensation he would be owed if he was sacked.

I just knew this was going to happen. Todgers was the favourite to take over but now it's Gollum.

Would be a shame if it is Gollum, I like Swansea's style, they've consistently good football for years now, that would be an end to that.

Hopefully BD they don't have time to get whoever it is in before the weekend and just go with a caretaker.

Or maybe he's gone through all the managers in Europe, so there's no one left to hire?

True but I don't like this situation either way as they could just as easily play out of their skin for a caretaker as a new manager.

Simeone ( which keeps changing to Someone with my fupping spell check) seems to be mentioned quite often in relation to the special ****'s current predicament. I'd say he'd be a perfect fit for them too.

I'm not sure Monk's sacking will make much difference to the way Swansea play, at least not so close to our game.

Hope I'm wrong, and I know Villa got a point against us with their new manager watching from the stands, but I'd put that down more to a slack performance from us, rather than any newfound belief from the Villa team.

We should still be able to beat Swansea at ours!

Possibly. Very limited time. I think Garde was appointed almost immediately at the start of the last international break and had nearly two weeks with the players be for we rocked up and underperformed.

Our squad should - should - be buzzing after events last Tuesday and so hopefully will be able to get themselves up for this game.
