Fulham v Spurs

Mauricio Pochettino confirmed that Harry Kane picked up a minor knee injury in Belgium, and is likely to be rested for the trip to Craven Cottage.

Jan Vertonghen and Danny Rose are still out, so Pochettino will call on younger members of his squad. Cameron Carter-Vickers and Kevin Wimmer could start at centre-back, while Harry Winks is set to feature in midfield.

Georges Kevin-N'Koudou came off the bench against Liverpool and may also start, with Vincent Janseen set to be handed a rare chance to impress after a difficult debut season in England.

Spurs starting XI: Vorm; Trippier, Carter-Vickers, Wimmer, Davies; Dier, Winks; Sissoko, Son, N'Koudou; Janssen

Personally I think we should field the same starting XI against Gent. The reason being is that they can prove to themselves that yesterday’s result was a fluke.

Defeat against Fulham on Sunday is not on my agenda but the potential of being bounced out of two cup competitions within a week may just tip me over the edge (wibble!).

We are not out of the el...there is another match next week...we are only 1-0 down...is there something I dont know ?

We will be out if we play like lemons on Thursday.

We need to put our wemberley demons to bed once and for all...before next season in case we play our home games there.....so start by destroying the Gents next week

Are the toilets being demolished then ?

Sissoko should be banned from the entire squad. Not only is he crap, he is lazy and a mercenary. Bad apple.

Play Janssen, Kane has been average for a long time now. He needed dropping anyway.

Vorm, Trippier, CCV, Wimmer, Davies, Dier, Winks, Onomah, Son, N'Kou, Janssen.

I would chuck a load of youngsters on the bench as well. Screw the first 11 they can't be bothered at the moment.

We just better hope they have too many Brussels Sprouts and half their team is actually on the Gents before the match....

We could give them Lasagne for lunch.

Quite likely RD. A side to exit the FA Cup, which is possibly the intention.

Since kane looks like he picked up a knock I would just start vinny. He needs a game and a goal from open play.

Son and eriksen should start as they didnt start on thursday. He said he will drop key players so im guessing lloris, alder, dembo and kane will be rested. Not sure if he will rest alli either.

I hope he starts GNK and hope onamah stays away from the team. Sissoko will play no doubt.

Yes, we are 1-0 down against the B team of a crap side. If they play their best players we may look worse than the arse did against Munich

Without any doubt what so ever we will lose this. If we can't can't beet a a third rate side with our strongest side, we have no chance of winning against an on form Fulham. Our Argentinian idiot will play the wrong side, with the wrong tactics, and the wrong formation. Fulham 3-1 Spurs

I saw a well organised and disciplined performance with energy and good basics. Passing and movement. Who did they beat to get to this stage of the competition ? We know Belgian football produces good players, we have 3 out of 10 first choice outfield players from Belgium.

For sure they made us look crap, that don't mean they are. I've not seen them before and fell into the trap of listening to the build up. 8 th in the league, on a bad run, starting with 5 first choice players out. Their manager had a plan and they were ready. Credit to them. If we had played well they had strong subs too.

Unfortunately I can see Sissoko starting again. Buying him was the biggest mistake by the club in recent times. IMO, Poch will continue to use him trying to justify his purchase decision and cost (praying that he comes good) else it undermines his transfer strategy. I found it disgraceful seeing Onomah sitting on the bench over Jannsen v Gent. Why exactly is Poch struggling with his OWN chosen signings? Can't see Levy appreciating his track record so far.

As for v Fulham, am not expecting anything spectacular. TBH, don't give a sh!t as long as N'Koudou and/or Jannsen produce motm performance(s) so that we have players challenging the 'given starters' of the main squad. The likes of Kane, Alli, Eriksen have had it too easy so far imo.

The Quarter Final round draw for the 2016/17 FA Cup will take place on Sunday evening.
