Some of you may not visit the VMC page articles on a regular and so I thought i'd begin a thread, with links to the relevant story, just in case you miss it. I will not add every single article.

Oh, and match day previews, reports etc will have, as usual, their own relevant forum threads.

Manchester City Injury List Update & Why Pep Puts Faith In Dr. Ramon Cugat

At the time of writing the relatively small group of Manchester City FC player injuries cannot be compared to the height of last seasons humongous list of crocked. Nevertheless, those currently sidelined must be causing Pep Guardiola a headache.

A blessing in disguise, (the small list) I suppose, but who knows what’s around the corner. I mean, I don’t want to create any further injury hoodoo, and so I’ll better get on with it.

Manchester United & Chelsea Are The Most Hated Clubs

Why are Manchester United and Chelsea the most hated Premier League clubs?

Before we get to a couple of reasons why I think the majority of football supporters cringe when someone mentions the likes of the Stretfords and Abramovich’s lot Statista European Football received 3,167 responses from those aged 18 or over, and reside in England (all were interested in football) about the club they hated the most.

Would be fabulous if Foden gets in, but doesn't Sothgate only want to pick players who are playing regularly for their clubs - in which case why also would Delph be picked? Unless there are injuries to other regulars?

And maybe Southgate will show loyalty to those players that did so well in Russia? - apart of course from the ageing and really rather useless Young?

I don't believe Foden will play but just being around senior players will do him the world of good.

As for Delph - he had an okay World Cup but hasn't really featured at City this season. The jury is out on that one.

Possibly.

Oxford Utd FC & Fans React To Carabao Cup Tie

League One outfit Oxford United have a home tie in this year’s third round against last season’s Carabao Cup winners Manchester City. The date has not been rubberstamped as the respective TV companies need to decide which games they want to broadcast live. However, what we do know is that the match will take place during the week commencing September 24.
