Not counting any chickens but should we actually reach the World Cup final who would you rather have us play against. I find it impossible to call.
 
Honest, no idea. Looking at both of their defences, I think we could beat either, their attacks, we could conseed to both. Who cares, lets get there first and see what happens on the day. Sorry about any spelling, a bit pissed(well very).
 
Have to admit that for all my bravado, if I'd had a bet on us winning it I'd normally be looking at the cashing price about now, but this team is different.
Although our past tells us we've always got a dodgy performance in us, this isn't the same old England any more. This is the new, confident, calm and patient England and I feel we have it in us to beat anything I've seen at this tournament up til now. We also seem to have the grit to overcome adversity (equalisers from Tunisia and Colombia and the miss in the penalty shoot out for example)
Who knows what the next seven or eight days brings? I'm just going along for the ride. This bunch have already given us something to be proud of and more than a little hope for the future

It may sound negative but if we get to the final I would find it more palatable to lose to the Belgians than France so I know who I will be supporting tomorrow.

Either of them would start the final as favourites but they are both beatable considering that Argentina who only just qualified scored three against France and Belgium conceded two against both Tunisia and Japan.
 
France have the most talented squad, certainly look a better team since getting Giroud into the line-up. Griezmann is for me the most talented player in the competition alongside Isco, brilliant players to watch glide around the pitch. But, I don’t have a clue who will win tomorrow, should be a cracker though..good warm up to watching the match through my fingers on Wednesday..

Got France to win the whole thing, if they get through against England think I’ll have to cash out early..

Bring it on. It'll certainly life interesting for us Brits living in France if (and it's a BIG IF) we play them in the final. Lots of jolly (?) banter in the bars. Bring it on.
