Friday Trivia

The last match of 95/6 was at home to Scarborough (1-0 - a bullet header by Leo). We had secured promotion at Fulham the previous Saturday but this also meant that we could not now be champions as our great friends at Preston (Gregan et al) were now 4 points ahead with 1 to play. Mr Scally stated that he was intending to be on the subs bench but it did not happen as we could still have finished third had we not beaten Scarborough in the league with reduced prize money and Pulis therefore picked the strongest team available.

I thought they were only three points ahead but had a superior goal difference of something massive like 20?
