What is stopping those companies from doing Business with the rest of the World Mao is we are NOT allowed to do our own Trade deals with those countries the negotiations are done by the EU we can not negotiate a joint Trade deal with China or India for instance those negotiations are done by EU officials

Which incidentally mostly favours Germany

Dyson went to Malaysia purely on a cost basis and complainng bitterly about EU interference, JCB I dont know about but having been to there site in Uttoxeter I would guess they went for the same reasons.

Britain at the heart ?? how many times have we been to the EU courts over issues they have introduced ?

I can tell you how many we have won ~~~ NONE

However did we manage to become the 5th/6th largest Economy in the World without the EU ? or have the largest Empire ?

Its a German led racket to dominate Europe and they have just about done it, only this time they did not fire a shot, The CBI are a joke whats known as sockpuppets

CBI accused of bias over European cash | The Times

Interesting

Where the fook do you dig this rubbish up from?
German racket to dominate Europe!!!
I like the one about the three bears myself; its more believable and more entertaining

The first paragraph is utter gibberish.
We have done business with China and other non EU countries this year without any interference whatsoever; not a EU official insight.

There is nothing to stop anyone doing business with the rest of the World. The reason Foreign businesses invest in this country is to do business with the EU. They all have operations that already do business with the rest of the World, most of which are situated close to their intended marketplace.

Your information on EU courts is even less accurate.
98.3% of all cases involving Britain referred to the court have been struck down as inadmissible by the court.
Britain have been found to be in non violation in 1.1% of instances.
and to have violated in .6% of instances.
Those horrible bastards at the EU really must up their game!

The only reason the European Courts has gained any prominence was down to that useless Home Secretary we are blessed with; probably the worst Home Secretary in history.

How many times did she fook up with Abu Hamza?
Some people might consider her incompetent; someone more cynical might think she was deliberately picking a fight to put the ECHR in a bad light.
If it was not for the Americans bailing her out, Hamza would still be on remand.

Dyson and Bamford have moved their operations to avail of low wage environments and to avoid paying tax; what else would you expect from a pair of one Nation Tories?

There is common theme with most of the "EU out" arseholes; Rothermere, Murdoch, the Barclay Brothers, not one of the c*nts pay tax in this Country; it must make you all proud to be British.

We havent Mao we have done a deal to support there new Bank which has angered, to my joy the Americans as it will screw up there Petrodollar we have not done and cant do our own Trade agreements it is done by the EU

I agree with Hamza and she did have him arrested, but then freed because of his" Uman rights" she may well be incompetent most of them are but it was uman rights not incompetence that kept him at Liberty

Struck of, inadmissabel or whatever we still have won diddly of our cases in the EU Court, I dont want EU law to overule GB law, I want Politicians accountable to the Electorate, not some unelected unaccountable Civil Servant

Why do the EU need Embassies ? they want an U Govt and all of Europe to be similar to the USA which is a metaphor for run by Germany

How long before the rest have to follow several Countries lead and submit there Budget to the Bundesbank before passing it, like both Ireland and Greece and the Irish were well screwed

This Irish Journo nailed it

No, have another go!

The EU, as a trading block, set deals with other trading blocks, not with individual Countries, unless there are sanctions in place against a particular Country.

There is NOTHING to stop individual businesses trading with any other Country in the World, other than the red tape and protocols set up by the Country you wish to trade with.

Theresa May had the option of deporting Hamza to a number of Countries but continually chose one that had no chance of being sanctioned; why?

"Struck of, inadmissabel or whatever we still have won diddly of our cases in the EU Court"

I would say that Britain have won 99.4% of cases submitted to the ECHR.

And EU law does not overrule British law; there are agreements in place that Countries have signed up to. Some people may not like the agreements but at the end of the day they are agreements.

And if the Germans run Europe like you say, which is nothing more than a convenient myth, how come the Central Bank defied German sentiment and went ahead with QE?

Portugal, Greece and Ireland did not have to have to open up their books to the Germans it was the EU, IMF and ECB; the Germans played a greater role with Greece because they are the ones that lent them the most money.

Llook a little closer to home for most of Europe and the Worlds money troubles; which Country played a leading role in exporting dodgy financial instruments that created the financial crash in 07/08?

I will give you a clue:

I will thanks

We are at cross purposes you are quoting the Guardians figures regarding the EU Court of Human Rights and it may well be correct, our judiciary are so enthralled they invariably find in favour of whoever , if they find in favour of the Govt and it goes to the EU Court I am not surprised the figure is so high

I am talking about EU laws and legislation which the UK Govt challenge not once have we won, now it may be we have had our say before the Commisioners enact it into Law but nonetheless EU law overrules UK law

Mao we can not do our own Trade agreements

The banker wa**ers are a different debate but yes London were right in the middle of it and who replaced the BoE as watchdog with the useless FSA reporting directly to him ?

Clue a one eyed deranged left wing Scottish mentalist

EU laws and legislation are formed from the basis of the agreements and treaties formulated by the member states; they do not over rule a Countries legal system, mainly they are an addendum to it.

I will give you an example:

Ireland are governed by a Constitution that holds the Government to account.

If any alterations are proposed to the Constitution, a National referendum must take place.

If any proposed agreement or treaty at the EU contain aspects that contravene the Irish Constitution, the change must be put to the Irish electorate.

Its a little less democratic in this Country; an act of Parliament is sufficient.

There is nothing in the EU Constitution that fly's in the face of UK law; how could it? its all been ratified by Parliament.

And on a completely unrelated note, over here in the States a woman is going to jail for having a loaded gun in her Vagina. Sometimes I do worry about these kind of things :15:

Would anyone here date her?

That's not the most eloquent criticism of Brown. Many mistakes made, certainly, but his eye is hardly his fault.
The FSA were toothless. I presume you were clamouring for tighter regulation at the time. Osborne and Cameron were calling for less regulation and complaining that Labour was too tough!

“I fear that much of this regulation has been burdensome, complex and makes cross-border market penetration more difficult.

“This is exactly the wrong direction in which Europe should be heading and it threatens the global competitiveness of the City of London.”

– George Osborne, 2006

“In an age of greater choice, he offers more overbearing control; in an age of greater freedom, he gives us more interference…

“In short, in an age that demands a light touch, he [Gordon Brown] offers that clunking fist.”

– George Osborne, 2006

“I want to give you [The City] lower taxes and less regulation.”

– David Cameron, 2006

“Light-touch… regulation is in the interests of the sector globally and the government need to send that message more strongly.”

– Mark Hoban, 2006

It could blow your head cleanorf. Do you feel lucky?

I once went down on one that kicked off such a pong, I would have been grateful for the gun

The Muslim council of great Britain took out a full page ad in the Telegraph today
Won't get reported so I thought I'd chuck it in here in case anyone continues to claim a lack of condemnation. Scholars from the US equivalent have done similar with open letters etc.

Not at all ITTO I like the majority were just appalled that my tax money was being spent on bailing out Bankers

I take little notice of anything Politicians say I prefer to see what they do, I treat Official reports , unlike you, with the same cynical contempt they are invariably written by people either with an Agenda, self interest or in the case of one of your favourite hobby horses Climate Change by Scientists dependent on there careers in making facts fit theory.

Does " Weapons of mass destruction " ring any bells that was from an Official report, the Chilcott one will be se severely redacted so as to make no difference, otherwise it won't ever get published

I've already written that all information sources should be critically assessed - some are far more reliable than others. You have quoted indisputably dodgy sources and predictions from people who are guessing and don't have the necessary information required to make a good guess. I have quoted ofgem, one of the *independent* national regulatory authorities and the National Grid, who know better than anyone else what the situation is; their report can be judged after the winter and their reputation relies on it - they have little reason to mislead.

\That is all

http://www.conservapedia.com/Climategate

Dodgy sources eh :14:

Is that all? Another newspaper article? Here's another one with a different point of view:
http://www.independent.co.uk/voices/energy-policy-reset-will-deter-investment-in-renewables-place-us-at-the-mercy-of-events-and-a6743576.html
So what?

The Telegraph article is by a climate change denier. He thinks it's a scam and his views on energy policy stem from this. He's wrong.

The Indy article is by this guy:
"Bruce Davis is the cofounder and joint managing director of Abundance, the first regulated crowdfunding platform in the UK offering debentures to fund renewable energy. He was part of the original team that created Zopa, the worlds first peer to peer lender and is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Bauman Institute, Leeds University."

...so he has an interest in increased funding for renewables.

I wouldn't say either represented the end of the story. The difference is that one is there to sell papers by sneering from an ill-informed position, while the other is an academic and businessman trying to make a positive difference and a career at the same time. The other difference is that one is supported by a vast scaffolding of scientific data and the other is not.
