Frank Clark thread Moved from 100% Forest

Calvin Plummer

Vital Football Legend
Why has it been censored? At least when I read it the vast majority of the posts were respectful.

If it was because Jom used BNP links then I think it even more important that it remain up so counter arguments and correct information can be shared.

Surely recent events have taught us to treasure freedoms?

This is a football fans forum, the latter discussions on that thread were nothing to do with Forest or football - should you wish to debate other such issues - then start a thread in the 'off topic' section.

The thread was moved because the usual daggers were starting come out a@@@@st the members.

Where a thread like this makes the most sense is to start it in the Off-Topics forum. That is where non football related threads should be going anyways.

A) It wasn't moved to off topic, it was just deleted.

B) That section has more tumbleweed blowing through it than Pat Butchers' panties. Even moving it there effectively kills the discussion.

Still you're right, the tragic events in France can't compete with the news our U21s beat Birmingham U21s....

A - It has not been deleted. It was frozen & moved, as it was only going one way.

The discussions and petty arguments regarding Christmas lights and no go zones were more disrespectful to those tragic events in Paris, than me removing the thread!

B - If you want to discuss something non Forest or Football related - then knock yourself out - but do so in the off topic section.

Feel free to start your crusade to make that a more buoyant section for discussions - CP.

Happy to help

I think in this instance it's probably best left alone

It was always going to head one way

Football fans are tribal by nature

With 2 tribes going to war

It makes for good debate. I realise that thje left and right clashed but isnt that a good thing? It happens on the terraces. I used to love booing Andy Reid until the woman who sits infront of me gave me what for. Its a difference of opinion, plus Frank Clark really does need to answer the questions regarding the financing of Daesh and of course the cancellation of Christmas in Birmingham

Didn't Liam Daish use to play for Cambridge ?
I can't remember us signing him , when did Clark finance this ?

Did Frankie Clark say this ?

I agree with CP. I found some of MBB's comments to be Islamophobic and unacceptable (I didn't realise that there were BNP links thrown in). But at least the discussion was on the whole conducted in a reasonable tone and most people were open to engagement, whatever their views.

I respect that the mods need to assert control. However, if possible I'd have like to have seen the thread moved in Off Topic.

Liam Daish also used to play for Birmingham. Probably has something to do with the cancelling of Christmas there.

Question: Why bring back a thread titled Frank Clark interview & move it to off topic to discuss the tragedy that unfolded at the weekend and the emotive polarising views that follow?

The thread was moved, with many years of experience on Vital to evidence this, at the point where it was only going to degrade.

Feel free to start a new one or use the one that Galaxy started.

Because I didn't see what happened. Are there rules on what can't be discussed in Off Topic? I agree the thread title should bs changed - it's not Frank's fault!

Islamophobic ?? given my spirited defence of our owner against many insults posted on this Forum I hardly think I am Islamophobic

I dont like Terrorism full stop I dont blame all Muslims like I did not blame all Catholics when I was running around Ireland chasing the PIRA, however I think Comrade Corbyns comments stupid and dangerous
it is a fact that in just about every flashpoint in the World presently involves Muslim extreemists making demands

It is also a fact that the Terrorists who carried out the atrocity in Paris were home grown they were part of a Muslim Community in Belgium Molenbeek which is also basically a No Go Area

Inconvenient I know.

Just because the BNP are a bunch of racist tossers does not make some of there claims untrue any more than comments or claims made by loony lefties like the SWP ,

The events in the video clip happened.

I also agree with DF Defence Contractors profits mean there will never be peace its unprofitable
