We could so easily have gone through the group stage in one of those years. We should have beat Madrid at their gaffe but for 2 moments of madness in the final 5 minutes. That said we've had some really tough groups with the likes of Munich, Napoli and Villareal, followed by Madrid, Dortmund and Ajax.

I think Mancio will do a great job for them. They'll tighten up at the back and build from that.
