What was his acceleration like though? If it takes him 100 yards to get to that seed rather than 30, is it still good?

Everyone is accelerating at 9.8m/s towards the centre of the Earth or thereabouts.

It is countered by other forces when you are standing still, but you are still accelerating at 9.8m/s. That never goes away. Its not a speed, so you don't need to take into account other factors like the Earth pushing back.

My gravitational acceleration is 9.8m/s and that doesn't change very much ever.
 
Much better performance at the weekend, but more importantly things also ran better for us. You need the rub sometimes to get you on the front foot and we showed what most of us suspected, that we’re not as bad as some
people are saying. You don’t go from close to Champions League to zero just like that.

We’ve had a loss of confidence thanks to the last manager, but we have an excellent chance against Leeds to get three points on the board and start to climb out of the situation we’ve found ourselves in.

With players to come back and one or two starting to lift their game through appropriate use of motivation we can turn this around.

The forces of gravity between two objects is directly dependent on the mass of the two objects and inversely on the square of the distance between them.

The gravitational force increases if the mass of either object increases, and decreases as the distance between the two objects increases.
