Forest vs Leeds thread

Morning from Mexico City

Awoniyi. - he looks 2 yards quicker, sharper, and much leaner than before. His last 2-3 appearances from the bench has shown a sharpness and intensity he hasn’t had for 2 years.

If he can now get back into scoring positions and add the composure he has from the end of season 1 and into the beginning of season 2, then that’s a massive unexpected asset

Might mean Kali off on loan in January

Hes proving he can win, control, hold up and lay off balls fed up to him for others to play off more than anything else i think

Only way Kali can play in a dyche team is alongside or behind a target man
Well, if that is the case, it was a huge mistake by whoever scouted and eventually signed him.

You would have thought that he would have been a Syrianos signing, but Syrianos tends to be thorough and averse to mistakes of that nature.

Dyche wasn't our manager when they signed him. Neither was Ange but he very much fits the style and profile for an Ange team .......

You are quite right; an individuals personal circumstances dictate if and when they can attend games.

People who have moved out of the area or cant afford to go are no less dedicated than those lucky enough to attend.

And then you have a whole bunch of people who just cannot get tickets even if they wanted to.

Football is trendy now, and has attracted a load of middle class dilettantes, who constantly bang on about how much they spend going to games or some other worthless bollox like how far they have travelled, and then use it as a stick to beat those who cannot go.

They are fooling no one apart from themselves.
If I could be bothered to debate you I’d point out how pretentious, absurd and downright dumb your non-observation about ‘middle-class dilettantes’ is. You’re talking out your arse and it’s tiresome to be honest.

If you commute 5 hours a week to get the ground, as I do, at great cost, that’s showing dedication to your club, end of.

I don’t ask anyone to pat me on the back for going, but I draw the line at some blow hard claiming that commuting to game is some kind of ‘middle-class posturing’.

I suspect you don’t go to the CG yourself at all but need to convince yourself you have the moral high ground at all times.

Yawn.

Fuck me, bastart shitehawk is still banging on about being the bestest ever supporter.

I wasnt really looking for affirmation, but thanks anyway.

And yes, I do have a season ticket, and it must be better positioned than yours as I can actually see what is going on.

Lets hope no one does pat you on the back, they might knock that chip off of your shoulder

🥱

Old man who thinks he's a lot cleverer than he is.

You crack on mate. You're so far up your own arse, at this point no amount of debate could extricate you from it.

You can all fuck off.

Used to go with a mate, sat at the back of the Peter Taylor stand on the halfway line. Best view in my opinion.

His mum was getting frail so he didn't want to renew his season ticket, decided not to as well. Then we fluked promotion and everyone else got in first.

A couple of years ago I paid £400 to get us 2 seats at the Legends Lounge, home to Brighton, for his birthday. Lost 3-2. He repaid the compliment for my birthday in February; Nuno had taken over, lost 3-2 to dirty Newcastle.

Don't tell me we didn't suffer for the cause!

Still too early to judge him for me.
Put him in a Forest team that is playing well and full of confidence - I think he gets you goals. He has not had that kind of opportunity yet.

23 years, and 34 in 93 games for a relatively poor team in top french division is Bournemouth style recruitment.
Some will fail.

How?
Spurs didn't play forwards like that - it revolved around Solanke - who is more of a target than a 'fox in the box'

When did all this ranking of supporters / fans start, I Certainly don’t know but I really wish someone would knock it on the head. I know during international breaks there’s shortage of proper things to debate but this one is getting really tedious now
Totally agree Seasider.
Some of us have been going for 60 years - the guy I sit (stand) next to in LB - is in his early 20's and an absolute fanatic - we both are equally Forest fans.

Yes, that is entirely possible.

However, I was merely replying to the thought that he needed a target man to work off, a style we do not tend to adopt
