Forest v Liverpool

I think when Anderson goes we will need to find some quality from somewhere to replace him

Personally I’d take the gamble and buy Luiz and also Garner if he doesn’t sign a new deal

Need luiz to demonstrate he has the core fitness we need. Doesnt look promising for that

Weve gambled on him this year.

We dont need to gamble again

Its upto him to prove his fitness next few months

PSR wont allow us to carry expensive players who cant contribute weekly

PSR is going to be hard enough to deal with when they can contribute weekly finbar

Do you mean Luis?

For a start, Anderson's performance is near world class. But so is everyone else's, it feels like there's a team.

On the Liverpool forum one of their fans said the only positive part of the game was seeing Anderson perform - knowing what a player he is going to become

Some of their fans do know their football and appreciate quality when they see it

First half subplot was Gakpo v Savona which created 2 or 3 chances for them, Salah v Williams less so (though Salah looked really good).

Surprised to see we dominated the first 5 minutes before dropping back and defending. When we did attack, it was so much better. Intelligent passes, good final balls and set pieces.

The longer it went on, the more it was Liverpool playing good passing football without laying a glove on us, Forest looking like scoring with every attack because they had become a team (and were 3-0 up at Anfield).

This was the pattern of so many matches last season.
Teams come at us, we get a sneaky goal, and then become unbreakable.

The move leading to the opening goal is truly magical.

Liverpool are getting on top, it may well stem from another of their corners. We get it clear and MGW works miracles to find Jesus despite being fouled.

Jesus turns away from three Liverpool defenders with a sway of the hips (this alone deserves MOTM) and plays Ndoye in down the left. Corner, Murillo, goal.

The other goals are superbly set up and finished. They both deserve goal of the month consideration, but that doesn't matter. If Forest can keep this going it could still be a fantastic season.

People raving about Sangare but he rarely touched the ball. Ditto Dominguez and to a lesser extent Jesus. But their work off the ball was phenomenal.

Some of their supporters do not take defeat very well.

I have been in Halewood for over a hour this morning and not so much as a good morning from the Red half.

Those fine upstanding citizens who follow Everton, have been as warm and inviting as ever.
