Im not that bothered, its more about that routine. Ive had a season ticket for the vast majority of 41 years. Probably only missing about 8 seasons in those years, from being a 12 year old junior red.

You and your missus could still utilise the exchange?
Over a couple of seasons using the exhange (four or five times total) the ticket only didn't sell once...but obvs its a gamble.

I received a generic email yesterday from the club pointing out that there is now a utilisation policy in opperation.

If you do not attend a minimum of 14 league games the club will reserve the right to take your ticket away from you.

I think that is a bit rich when you are subjected to so many match day movements to satisfy Sky and BT

I saw this as well

Unfortunately it's pretty standard in the Premier League now. I think Man City's is a lot more strict- something like 6 or 8 games missed.

I ended up exchanging 2-3 times last season due to birthdays falling on match days.

The person I go with missed basically the first half of the season through illness. It did mean a fairly cheap season ticket this year though

It's ok as long as you put them on the exchange- and their rules say it doesn't matter if they get sold or not. So no reason not to list it I guess.

It doesn't feel all that long ago that we had a paper book and no one gave a shit if you turned up or not. Now we dont even have a card

It was five insults actually, but actually all fair when dealing with someone who has just responded to a post from me with "fuck off".

And going back to your post to me, if by "reading the room" you mean "see who agrees with you", you're rather hampered by your disputatious posting history on here, and your continual rudeness and arguments with (off the top of my head, within the last few weeks), me, Peter Baxendale Thomas, Finbar, Mao, Radford in London, Will.

Do you have a mirror in your house? If so, I suggest you look in it and say "stop personally insulting people".

By all means, find the post where I have launched insults at someone else like Finbar has just done to me.

Not really worth trawling back through the mass of your posts, but I can say with some confidence that within the last few weeks, just towards me, you have used the words, "fuck off", "cowardly", "bellend", would "give [someone] a handy".

I am quite sure that there is similar towards the others I have mentioned.

So having disproved within about five minutes your untrue characterisation of your posts as not containing personal insults, I might expect from someone normal some retraction. I am, however, dealing here with you.

Yes, i.e. they are on your profile, coming from you to me- if you word- search Chandos and Pope, they come up- obviously, that misses out loads more of your personal insults to all and sundry, including towards me, but should be sufficient even for someone as limited as you to see the point.

Yes it’s getting tiresome now. Just because someone else has a different opinion to you, doesn’t make you right and the other person wrong or vice versa. I’m not going to be a hypocrite and say I’ve never been drawn into such conflicts but I am trying to stay away from any personal stuff. I accept it’s not always easy and apologise for any personal attacks I might have made in the past. I’m just getting a bit long in the tooth for all this crap.

I don't like to do that but your obsession has gotten ridiculous and it's just not fair on the forum

You have a serious problem with me. Quite an obsessional problem. I have been on various Forest forums since 2002 and have never encountered anything quite like this.

Clearly some part of me just being me pushes a whole lot of buttons for you, to the point where you are constantly having to make unsolicited criticisms- even in conversations that I'm not a part of, as we have seen today.

You have the problem, but you have proved that you are incapable of dealing with it yourself by ignoring me- so you can join the anti-Semitic conspiracy theorist and the parody account on ignore.

That way you can continue having a go at me to your heart's content, which seems to be about 80% of your reason for being on this forum- but I won't see it and won't feel the need to meet the challenge, to the boredom of everyone else
