Forest v Bmuff Fred

It's not that I love an argument, I just disagree with you, and you seem to not like that.

I made my point. You disagreed with it. Your rebuttle was not convincing enough for me to change my opinion, so I defended it
You just made my point.

I made a neutral observation, that nobody could predict it would be quite so hot at 4 pm today, and you basically claimed it was obvious that it would be almost 30 degrees.

I then pointed out that these are record-breaking levels of heat for this time of year, so by definition no-one could have predicted that. You seem unable to grasp this. Not my problem.

And I’m disagreeing with you and disproved your point.

We are marginally debating the preference of VP after Milo and Murillo
And overwhelmingly he’s preferred Cunha. As he should.
I’m very happy with both of them

Lol

Im saying overwhelmingly hes prefferred Morato

We were discussing 3rd choice centre back

As part of two centre backs i believe VP has started Cunha twice ? Once with Morato

Is that correct?

And I believe hes only started as a centre back as a 2 four times all season?

Is that correct?

Morato hes started loads more than that as part of a two? 3 of those 4 games above before we start counting all the games with Milo or Murillo

I think youve just gone looking for when Cunha was sub, full back or part of a 3

All this when I asked you how many games you had actually seen Cunha play centre back for us

Its 4 games I believe all season. And thats if we count Wrexham. Which im not sure you would have seen?

You told me 6 to 8 times Finbar.

You say youve seen enough already?

I say I havent. And suggested nor have you. Wanted to see him centre back the last 2 games.

But Morato got the job both times again. Which tells me Morato is highly valued by VP. I certainly dont think he stays with us to be 4th choice. Not at his age he wants game time. Just being 3rd choice he might not want tbh.

I dont think you should dismiss him like that. Hes stepped upto the plate many times for us now. And I would say 80% of the time hes done ok at the least.

Cunha has yet to prove himself. I hope he does prove to be the real deal. Too early to say for me as a defender

As a footballer yes hes quality. If I had to predict I do believe Cunha will prove himself in time

But I also believe Morato will continue to improve as well

Wrong on every point. When VP has called for for a sub, or a starter between Morato and Cunha he’s favoured Cunha

Pretty easy, and doesn’t need 20 paragraphs of inaccuracy to justify a wrongly made point.

The exception was United or when they both played. Other than 1 occasion Cunha has been called first by VP

End of argument

I didn't say it was obvious that it would be 30 degrees

But the end of May is hardly a surprise for warm weather- game week 1, 2 and 38 are generally going to be the hottest of the year.

4pm-6pm are prime times for heat on hot days

No, they didn't know there would be a heat wave but they know it's a time of year where there could be one, and therefore earlier in the day would be a better time and make better games

You don't agree, I don't care that you don't so let's agree to disagree and move on

I think we’re reading way too much into individuals and not enough into partnerships. Morato is a leftie and a more natural match for Milo who is used to playing with Murillo so much. Morato and Cunha were like a budget version of Murillo/Milo when they played at Chelsea.

If you felt that Cunha and Morato were close in ability terms, then picking the more experienced left-footer is an obvious choice. And Pereira seems reluctant to give less experienced players too many minutes even from the bench. Which is fair enough in this league.

The MGW free kick goal was as a result of Hill, high late tackle on MGW. From my position, not quite in line he was last man. By fouling he was denied a scoring opportunity. Why was he not red carded and why didn’t VAR intervene. Am I correct. He was last man. Deliberate late and high tackle?

Milo and Murillo are our first choice CBs.
Cunha is our RCB sub
Morato is our LCB sub
In game tactics, form and availability plays a part. Both Cunha and Morato are young, with potential for future growth.

Are we counting that as scoring from a direct free kick for the first time in 5 or 6 years or whatever it is now ? Technically i don't suppose we can as it was laid off to him.
Yes VAR should have looked at it i reckon.

We were talking about playing centre back??

Nowhere near last man polly

And wasnt an immediate scoring opportunity

At least he's not saying that you're stalking him for responding to one of his posts on here and disagreeing with one of his stupid musings. When are the last games of a season on a Bank Holiday Sunday supposed to be? Midnight?

Correct.
But we should be expecting that to happen more and more often.
We've just had one of the mildest winters on record. Last summer was the warmest on record, etc etc.
It was only 2 or 3 years ago i remember going pretty much through the whole of August without seeing the sun .

FFS Finbar

This was how we started just to remind you

"List the times hes played there. I bet its far less than you realise mate. I do remember one very good game he had. But hes barely played there and we need to see lots more before we judge him"

Ive then found 4 games hes started as traditional centre back. All the rest hes started hes either been full back or part of 3 defenders.

Wrexham away played full game with Morato
Midjtland at home played first 9 mins only with Morato before being subbed
Sunderland away played first 50 mins with Milo before being subbed
Chelsea away played first 45 mins with Morato before being subbed

Im not doing the same for Morato as ive wasted hours on this already. But i reckon hes started as centre back at least FOUR TIMES MORE OFTEN than Cunha. 12 games at least.

Above is barely 2 full games minutes wise youve seen of Cunha starting as a centre back all season unless im mistaken. And thats how you claim hes our 3rd choice centre back?

And im not even sure you will have seen the Wrexham game??

Its why I asked you to list the times you had seen him play centre back for us.

Because I knew he had barely played there for us to judge.

Since then youve changed the topic to start telling me all the times hes come on as a sub in various positions ahead of Morato. Irrelevant to who our 3rd choice centre back is.

All we were discussing was 3rd choice centre back. Not whos been the best sub out of the pair of them?
