Forest v Bmuff Fred

Typical end of season game, not much to say about it really, Bournemouth are a decent side who play with high energy & pressing we did OK against them this time though.
Pleased to see the back of this season really ultimately we did alright getting to semi final of EL and saving ourselves from relegation. Can't do with the stress of being around that bottom 3 all season again next season though.
Radio Nottm just confirming Neco as POTS something I suppose he deserves because he has been so consistent from beginning to end, never injured & played bulk of the games & if he had 2 mediocre games that's it. MGW took the first half of the season to get going. Anderson has been similar to Wiiliams, always available & very rarely a poor game.
Time now to concentrate on the cricket with the odd world cup game to watch as well, let's hope Anderson is till shown as being a nottingham Forest when that begins & ends

Nothing weve seen lately suggests Cunha is 3rd choice ahead of Morato Finbar

Plenty of opps to play him there all gone to Morato

In key games and nothing games

He’s been injured / half fit.

Morato has ended the season well but this is his ceiling. I still think he goes in the summer but hopefully his performances mean we can get close to the 20 odd million someone offered in January.

Cunha is third choice all day long IMO but suffered today from having to do a job at fullback (as I’m sure Morato would have too).

I honestly think if what you predict was going to happen Cunha would have been playing centre back today to check him out more

Weve barely seen him at centre back to judge him

And we didnt need to see more of Morato today

I firmly expect Morato to be here next season

We really dont seem to miss Murillo so much when he plays now

More than happy with Morato as a 4th choice personally

List the times hes played there. I bet its far less than you realise mate

I do remember one very good game he had

But hes barely played there and we need to see lots more before we judge him

Should definitely have played him there today if manager is thinking same as some of you guys

I get the impression VP definitely favours Morato

Morato himself still young and improving

He’s had 6-8 games there and but for his injury v Sunderland would have remained there
You’re barking up the wrong tree on this one wolfie

Way off his prime.

We would be mad not to keep him if he will stay as 3rd choice. Not sure he would stay as 4th choice.

Maybe Cunha needs a loan himself to get games at centre back ?

VP since he arrived has consistently selected Cunha over Morato, either starting or from the bench
He got injured against Sunderland and missed Villa away, Chelsea, and Newcastle.

Morato kept the shirt the last 2 games only. Had he not been injured v Sunderland, it’s highly unlikely Morato started those games

Will be interesting to see the PL effect of European football on Sunderland, Brighton and Bournemouth . Not done much good for us or Spurs this season, or Man Utd or Spurs last year, and the latter two clearly have bigger squads than the first 3 teams. Also looks like Palace could have the last laugh on us if they win the Conference League and get a second season in Europe.
