Forest - Reading match thread.

That’s a very pessimistic view but probably very correct too. How many teams have entertained their way to either an extended stay or ‘full membership’...?

None; even a Wolves side who have benefitted from huge spending know when its time to put the shutters up.

Even established sides resort to defensive play when the have to.

And as for successful sides; has there actually been one with a poor defence?

It used to be considered a sign of a good side when they could grind out results having played badly.

I guess garner fits into that. Imo would love to see us sign him, even on loan

It will be interesting to see what happens at United.

Even if Pogba goes, will they fill that gap with Garner; it would be a huge gamble to do so.

If United finish second, which it looks like they will, there will be immense pressure on the manager to improve on that.

That will bring immense pressure on the Club to spend money.

Garner does not come across as the type of player who would be happy to sit out games waiting for his chance to come; he could well agitate for another loan.

He's a really good player, but he's never going to he good enough to play more than 4 or 5 games for United in a season.

Man UTD are selling. They want to get rid of £60m of "deadwood"

Thats my guess, lets hope we try to support him cos we have to get him back. He looks 12 but he's been instrumental in our midfield imo

Bong has to be dropped for tonight’s game. Reading and Watford gave him the run around, despite what CP states. Norwich have an excellent right hand side with Buendia assisting and scoring freely. If Ribz isn’t picked for contractual reasons (EU thinking) then Blackett plays and we will see if he is the answer for next season.

Knocks and Murray on bench. Time we looked at Mighten v the best.

Didn't say Watford but against Reading he was comfortably our best player statistically.
