Forest players on international duty thread

This is probably going to be an unpopular opinion, but we starting to see a different England. With Southgate we were tough to beat, but we hardly raised the excitement levels. Southgate took us to an unprecedented number of semi/finals and he deserves our gratitude for that. However his inability to beat high/low blocks was telling in the end.
Hopefully Tuchel will take us to the next level. Different gravy, hopefully.
 
Do we think Elliot still makes the squad when the big boys return, namely, but not limited to...Bellingham, Palmer, Foden, Sterling, Wharton, Ramsey?

This has got to be one of the strangest 'in defence of Ange' posts I've seen.

Is the fact that he played Spence due to an injury crisis of his own making supposed to be some sort of indication that he's a good PL manager and we should stick with him?

Given that other than Wharton the other players play further forward, I would say he does. I would go as far as to say that he will now be one of the first names on Tuchel’s team sheet…

Think Bellingham and Cole are in squad but not in front of Anderson. He is ahead and clear of Foden, Sterling, Grealish etc. Foden, Bellingham, Palmer, Rodger’s, Eze MGW are battling for No 10 shirt. Two will get nod and third may squeeze in. Bellingham, Rodger’s and Cole look most likely. Sorry Morgan.

Until he learns how to shoot I don’t see Morgan as an England first teamer
 
Problem with Anderson's posotion, is that higher quality players can do a job as a 6...whereas all Elliot can play in the England team is as a DM.

His lack of flexibilty will ultimately count against him, especially when competing with genuine world-class players.

Wrong. He can also play further forward. He did for Newcastle and at times for us and the u21s…

A lot depends on formation but in a 4-2-3-1 it will be Anderson and Rice as the two. Henderson will be in as backup.
