[Old Poolie]

The last match of the 2024/25 season; but will it prove to be Pools last stand?
For me there are too many uncertainties surrounding the current situation,
- who is the Interim Board (Raj Singh)?
- who are the, alleged, potential takeover parties?
- who will be making decisions on players, ground, etc?
- why the silence from the Supporters Trust?
We only know what has been posted on the Official website and the comments in
the Mail, but i doubt the Mail know anything more than the rest of us!
I fear Pools will just fade away at the season end without even a whimper from the fanbase. SAD

I’m all for planning and preparation however as supporters we can only deal with whatever happens, when it happens unfortunately

Think they’ll be trying to avoid injuries and fatigue, so somewhat of a training exercise for FGR, as the outcome will make no difference to their final position.

Our position [off field] could change dramatically, or not at all, despite the final score, ‘it is what it is’ or ‘Que sera, sera’ in old money. Other clubs have comeback from similar positions. If it does hit the fan it just gets very messy, not necessarily the end of the world

A draw in a game that was a "dead rubber" for both teams was unsurprising.
For Pools fans we now have to wait, nervously, for a pronouncement from the Interim Board as to whether the Takeover is progressing. It could prove a worrying summer for all Poolies!
