Not really sure I'd call him a 'successful' manager on two failed play offs with dull football.

Here's us 18 months ago wondering if he'll be tempted to walk when one of the top jobs comes up.

Looks like League One beckons again for him to rebuild his reputation
 
The way Notts Forest go through managers, what is it 14 in ten years he's going to need all the luck going to make a go of it. One thing is certain there will be managers being shown the door over the season. Wilder has already said he is looking for the right job, don't think Notts Forest is the right job for anybody.
 
Perfect Forest appointment. Boring as fuck and far from guaranteed to even get the results. More of the same for them.

Given what's happening with Derby and Reading, there'll likely only be one relegation place to fight against. I suspect there will be at least one other team worse than Forest come the end of the season.
