Football During Coronavirus Crisis

They need to set a line down for the postponment of games say 5 positives in a first team squad for instance 2 days before the game. Its then a level playing field and we all know how it works.

yep they'll need to set something of this order.
The 5 or whatever should only count the jabbed tho.

I think inevitably we're heading for another lockdown. It'll drag on and on as long as possible to keep the cash tills ringing but by then the damage will already be done. The government will delay, delay, delay as they're already more unpopular than at any time over the last 3 years and this will push what popularity that remains over a cliff

Only people who need locking down are the anti Vaxxers, just keep them away from the rest of us

Our wonderful government know that they can't control this That's why they are no longer saying that everyone who maybe in contact with a case of Omricon case has to isolate just take and useless LF test for a few days because it's going to be so widespread.

I would be amazed if they lock down, they are more likely to let it rip through the population and be dammed with the consequences. For me, this it has been their end game all along.

The world has to come to terms with the fact that Covid is here to stay. Folks are sick to death of lockdowns, restrictions and the rest. If they did try another lockdown, they would have difficulty getting it to stick.

Question of the day: Why haven't the Chinese had more stick for all this especially considering they have previous (SARS)?

We've never locked down mate , which is part of the problem

Yup, a couple of industries bore the brunt but it was never a proper lockdown as per the word and it's not been much of an inconvenience although I more than get the anger from some who have been more hard hit on this.

Maybe because they and the other countries in that part of the world had that SARS experience, and knew what they needed to do.

What staggers me is the inability of the authorities in this country to learn lessons from other countries, to put in place the right preparations to deal with a pandemic, and to know what to do when the pandemic arrived.

I know the club are hoping to get something sorted so we can be, for want of a better expression, pre-approved. Remains to be seen if it is possible, but the effort is being put in at least.
