For those who like a flutter on the football , just to let you know the bible of football betting on this season is out today , racing post football supplement ,
 
I've got Boston at 40/1 e/w
Imps, Posh and Forest to be promoted 75/1
My work mate has Liverpool, Leeds, Posh, Imps and Boston. £1 e/w pays £125,000 !!!
 
i have picked 2 bets in league 2

crewe 40/1 for promotion in 1st spot william hill (2-3) quarter of odds.
cambridge utd 25/1 betfred as above (2-3) quarter of odds.

both had decent form over last 15 games of last season
same logic threw up ACCRINGTON last season..... 28/1 winners.

knowing me crewe
and cambridge are destined for the national league.

barnet 16/1 john still had 3 promotions from this division with 3 different clubs
chesterfield 10/1
with a saver on hartlepool at 25/1

Ive' done a double on Lincoln and Pboro to get promoted.

Going to look at Chesterfield and Cambridge as well
 
I'd be tempted for City promoted, or as winners and Akinde as top scorer. Think the prices are lower every day though...

Knowing me, knowing Crewe, wasnt that an ABBA song? :grinning:

akinde favourite for top scorer league 2,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, 8/1 still available

imps 7/1 or 8/1 to win league 2 shortening
 
I’d be very surprised if Cambridge even made it to mid table. Reports at the end of last season said they were broke. Squad looks weak to me and Joe Dunne doesn’t appear to be a tactics master.

So promotion is most likely.
 
The Post recommended bets were
MK Dons 2pts each-way 13-2
Swindon 1pt each-way 14-1

We are now best priced 8-1
Skybet are EW to four places instead of three but we are now into 7-1 with them

I like some of the bets stated on here, some excellent value
Mine are more mundane but i did manage to get some early value
Notts County 8-1 ew 4 places
Lincoln 10-1 ew 4 places
Notts County/Salford ew 53/1
Lincoln/Salford ew 65/1
plus some other fun multiples
 
Port Vale may be a decent outside bet. They’ve got quite a well balanced squad and as we saw they can keep a clean sheet. Then again, promotion probably relies on Ricky Miller. If he’s turns up they could do it. Good bet for play offs.

Imps and MK top 7 £44 returning £143
County to win the league and Morecambe bottom £2 returning £82

you have gone for some complexity in those bets!
like the sound of imps and mk top 3 etc.....candy from a baby?
 
I've got:

Lincoln, Notts and MK in the top 7 at 5's.

Stockley top scorer is 16's and Akinde at 10's (Akinde and Dennis favs at 10's).

Danny Lloyd top scorer in the NL at 20's.

Solihull, Walsall, Morecambe relegated treble at 20's.

Sutton, Crawley, Bradford top half finishes - 10's.

Also got Salford early on at 8's but I was too slow on that one. Could have got better there.
 
bet for tomorrow noton v lincoln 12/5 the draw

then a double crewe to beat morecambe evens
with swindon to beat macclesfield 4/5

first games of season always a tough one.
