Football Asociation of Ireland "will not back Blatter"!

Galvin's Shinpads

Vital Football Legend
So the first FA to have come out and declare that they have no faith in Blatter and his world, are the Football Association of Ireland.

Now, why don't the FAs of England, Scotland Northern Ireland and Wales do likewise???

Anything in the UK and Ireland will sound like sour grapes. It will take the entire Americas and Asia to shake his foundations. Smaller nations rely on FIFA's "largesse".

Good on them, as you say now the others need to grow a pair and do the same.

In fairness Chiv, I'd love to see John Delaney take a leaf out of his own book and step down, as he has made the FAI look like a joke shop, with his drunken escapades. What a tool.

But still, great to see the Association have spoken out about not supporting this fraud.

80's right It is actually better if the FA are not among the first to do this. Or accusations of imperialist score-settling will be leveled.

I honestly don't think so. ANY Association to come out and announce that they are not backing Blatter, is a great thing!

Ireland and Germany are the only two to have done so so far!

I seriously think that the English FA are the exception as we are seen as politically motivated in our desire for change, let others lead, we do not have to be at the vanguard on this.

Galvin, the home nations were the nominating nations for Blatters opponents, so to some extent they've led the charge against Blatter.

All grand saying that but not one of them came out and publicly said it!

Only Germany and Ireland have done so far, in UEFA.

Nobody said it publicly. Where's the official English FA press release?

BUT THE TERRIBLE NEWS IS 'GALV', - He didn't, the idiots voted him back in!!!!

WHAT IS IT ABOUT THE FOOTBALLING WORLD? £98M would have done a hell of a lot to promote football, give kids a leg up and create enjoyment for millions and these people are siphoning off all the money, ALLEGEDLY.

Maybe the fai will focus their attention now on actually backing the development and production of some capable footballers.
