Food as therapy

I forgot to mention the rather truculent trifle replete with boisterous bananas and rude raspberries whose ultimately cloying sentimentality has left me with a mild bout of diarrhea.

He's not talking about alcoholics though kefkat.

He may not be JF. It isn't made clear though. IMHO that isn't good, that he hasn't made it clear..

Hate to disagree, ahem, as you cough cough know.

However, it is both obvious and implied.

Everyone would know that alcoholics shouldn't stop abstaining but articles can't cater for every 'minority' or situation, free thought and self determination is there for that.

Yeah O.K O.K true! I am sensitive around this issue as I am dealing with it daily. Yes I have learnt to detach however I have seen too many die/chase it into the gates of insanity and slow death/suicide by instalments and sometimes it still gets me

I see too many who think they can learn to control it. What they don't get it that if your trying to control something it is still a problem. Take it or leave it is how a non alcoholic would be and they would get that.

The person with the drink problem is always the last to realise this, if they ever do.

Still some Doctors out of the dark ages over alcoholism even though the NHS/governments etc all advocate abstinence and 12 step programs now. Why? Oh boo guess what A.A is free-it costs them nothing so we are what they call great 'after-care'
