Fleetwood Score Prediction?

If Morsy and Evans play we'll run the midfield which will take pressure off our backline.
Get Byrne and Pearce up the pitch putting crosses in and take the game to them.

I'll go 3.2 Latics.

Strange to think that in 2005 Fleetwood were NWCL champions whereas we were on our way to the Premier League. Now, most of us seem to be expecting them to win tomorrow 😕
Andy Pilley has not gone mad and built a massive stadium like Darlington,
i wish we had him here at present.

It's a sad and thought provoking day when we are looking jealously at the Fleetwood set up.
Crying shame doesn't come close.
No disrespect at all to Fleetwood here btw

I totally agree, in hindsight, Whelan should have developed Springy.
or a Smaller DW Stadium 15k to 20k at the most.

I know a LOT of fans will shout-me-down, but Springy would have been
more than big enough, if it had been fully developed.

Bill Kenyon wanted to re develop Springfield Park in the 80s.
An all seater 15000 stadium with a hotel and I think a casino attached to it.
I'm not sure of the logistics of it all but he had a spread in the programme explaining it all.
But as usual the local council were not to keen.

It was lack of foresight by all. St. Andrews crescent was always a sticking point but there was enough land on the other side to reposition about 50 yards over....that and there were incentives made by the powers that be in the form of loads of dosh to build a dual purpose stadium on Robin Park playing fields.
They also demolished a perfectly adequate athletics stadium and built a brand spanker.

Were not gonna win put it that road. I think we will score and make a nuisance
of ourselves though. Garner will score.

4 2 or 3 1 Fleetwood something like that

Springfield Park was in the wrong place to be developed, to many houses in the area with poor access and very little car parking areas etc and also it was sat on prime development land.
It made sense to build a new stadium, at the time if we had built a 15k capacity stadium Whelan would have been slated for being unambitious and holding us back from his PL dream.

It was not a perfectly adequate athletics stadium, it was a dump.
I used to run for Wigan Harriers and it was abysmal compared to a lot of the other clubs we used to go to.
Robin Park Arena is light years ahead of Woodhouse Stadium

Not on about Woodhouse, I'm on about athletic stadium at Robin park.

I reckon ones that don't play will be ones that are saying we don't want to play in league one
Can the club not refuse to pay wages to those refusing to play

I didn't know that, but if it was for rugger team,
they would have got the nod.
